The T-Ride arrives at the crossing of two worlds: the trial and the enduro. The trial has known for several years a change to become a very elite sport, it has there only to look at the evolutions carried out on the motor bikes to realize it. The absence of saddle and the weak capacity of the tanks show the orientation of this discipline. The enduros offer as for them an appreciable comfort and an autonomy, but their use or little is not directed towards crossing. Moreover, this type of motor bike remains expensive because one 250 4 stroke is 7900€ for the model the least expensive of the market. The second brake of this practice is the weight, because all the models (with engine 4 stroke) largely exceed the 100 kilos. There thus remains a still free place: that of the T-Ride. New concept between the trial and the enduro, it borrows best each one of these disciplines and profits from the experiment from SCORPA in the field from the trial racing and leisure. Thus, thanks to its “reduced” gauge, its lightness and its performances, the T-Ride answers not yet filled waiting. Moreover, its tariff should be surroundings 1000€ less expensive than enduro. It should satisfy a large majority of the followers of the green motor bike who find the models any ground often expensive. The concept of the T-Ride can be summarized by a sentence of Mr. Aresten included in Moto Newspaper: “An easy motor bike for the difficult one”.

The new 2007 series of the SY-250 is an important step in this motorbike’s development, incorporating new improvements and upgrading : new handlebars, triple clamps, flywheels, rear fenders, head lights, forks, rear shocks, middle exhaust pipes, silencers, sticker kits, cylinder head volumes, foot rest positions… each upgrade has been improved by Marc Colomer and allows for a better performance and a pleasure to ride the SY-250 retaining the strengths that have maintained the bike reputation throughout the years.

The SY-250F Long Ride is a mix between Trial bike and a leisure bike. With its 4,5 Ltr fuel tank, its large seat and 250 Cc 4 Stroke Yamaha engine with 5 speed transmission, it could be used in all off-road tracks with capacity, comfort and pleasure to ride. This machine is perfect for leisure trailing or off-road riding. The tank and the seat are available and adaptable on the Racing series. The lighting kit is not available in Canada. The Scorpas are not street legal in Canada
